STUDENTS CAN DO THEIR HOMEWORK
How many times have you heard these comments from your child?
I left my Chromebook at school and I need it to do my homework!
I don't have Internet access at home so I can't do my homework!
This page has all of the answers you need so that you can help your child be successful.
First of all, teachers realize that internet access may not always be available to every student. Most teachers will NOT assign online homework to be due the following day so that a student has adequate time to find internet access.
If the student does not have internet access, where else can it be found?
- Public library
- Friends' or relatives' house
- Many restaurants such as McDonalds, Panera Bread, etc. have free wifi access
- If all else fails, the LES wifi is accessible in the parking lot of the building!
So those pointers may help if the student has the Chromebook, but what if he left it at school? Anything that can be accessed on the Chromebook can also be accessed from any personal computer, tablet, and even most smartphones.
All students have been assigned a GoogleDrive account which is where they store all of their files. This GoogleDrive is NOT storage on their Google Chromebook but online so it can be accessed from any computer with internet access.

Some assignments may be on Schoology. Schoology is a learning management system that is also online. Each student has a Schoology account and it can also be accessed from any computer with internet access.
